“An education capable of saving humanity is no small undertaking; it involves the spiritual development of man, the enhancement of his value as an individual, and the preparation of young people to understand the times in which they live.”
– Dr. Maria Montessori

ELEMENTARY 6-12 YEARS OLD

Our elementary program has organically grown based on the demand of our Casa program and the results our families have experienced.

The program is facilitated by a fully accredited Internationally Certified Montessori Elementary teacher who is highly trained and certified to deliver a unique, individualized program that supports each child’s need within the curriculum; allowing for children to work at their own pace and in their own natural learning style.

There are a number of activities prepared in the environment to foster each part of the curriculum and it’s the role of this specialized teacher to support each child in discovering which way will work best for them.

Children who want to work ahead will not be held back to become bored, thus children who may need a little extra help will not be segregated and left out. Children encourage one another and offer support to each other; and because the program is so individualized, competitive tactics are not needed. Children work for the love of learning and for their own sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

Organic Nutritionists

Health, Wellness and Nutrition is a large part of our program! One of the ways we instill a love of health is through our Gardening program. From planting flowers & veggies in the spring to watching as our pumpkins and Squash grow through autumn, our students gain a love and appreciation for naturally grown foods and wholesome eating. Come Harvest in September, we love to pick the veggies we’ve been growing over the summer and enjoy a community feast, prepared by our students!

Leadership

Our Students pride themselves on being “leaders” and guiding their peers in the “right direction”. Utilizing empowering and motivating lessons, children learn the power they have within to stand up for each other in a cooperative and encouraging way.

Kids Can Cook

Our cooking and baking program is designed to promote experimental eating amongst our children, by having them try new foods that they create. Cooking and baking also enhances their measurement & vocabulary skills, while instilling a love for healthy eating. Our students eat their greens!

Piano

Once a week for a half hour, each student participates in a one on one lesson with Miss Domonique, our highly certified Piano teacher.
